FOR MANY, HAVING BLURRY VISION IS A SIGN THEY NEED A PAIR OF EYEGLASSES. What they don’t realize is that it can also be a sign of potentially blinding conditions.
This is why the Asian Eye Institute advocates for patient education through the use of different media. It strives to inculcate in Filipinos’ minds the importance of undergoing comprehensive eye exams because early intervention can protect their vision from blindness.
Along with increased awareness, the Asian Eye Institute also improves access to quality eye care by opening additional sites for its sub-brand, EyeSite. EyeSite offers expert eye care and valuefor-money delivered with the compassionate care that Filipinos are known for. Its services are designed to cater to the growing needs of families, senior citizens and OFWs.
EyeSite has four clinics – inside the St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center, Oasis Commercial Center in First Philippine Industrial Park, both in Sto. Tomas, Batangas; SM Batangas City; and SM Dasmariñas in Cavite. Its services will also soon be available in Mandaluyong City, in partnership with Unilab’s Reliance Care, Inc.
The Asian Eye Institute is the biggest ambulatory eye center in the Philippines. It serves over 60,000 foreign and local patients annually.
