FOR ALMOST 90 YEARS, AIA Singapore has been enabling customers to live healthier, longer, better lives. As a leader driving the economic and social development in Singapore, we go beyond the traditional insurance business model of just handing our customers a cheque when an unexpected event strikes to partnering them to boost their physical wellbeing.
In 2013, we launched AIA Vitality – the only wellness programme to support and incentivise AIA customers to take an active role to improve their health.
As customers live healthier and get better, they get to enjoy premium discount or additional coverage on selected AIA insurance plans with AIA Vitality. Customers also get to enjoy a cash bonus, making AIA the first insurer in Singapore to pay customers as they get healthier.
To further inspire customers, AIA Vitality Weekly Challenge was introduced. Within a year, customers clocked close to 60 billion steps, equivalent to walking around Singapore almost 200,000 times!
On top of that, we are proud to be a Global Principal Partner of Tottenham Hotspur, where we hope to leverage on football to unify people of all walks of life to come together for healthy activities. Together with AIA, our Global Ambassador David Beckham amplifies the importance of getting families to eat healthy, live active and be a fit-spiration for their children.
Coupled with our involvement in mass participation events like The Music RunTM by AIA and FitnessFest by AIA, we will continue to focus on our efforts to encourage Singaporeans to live healthier, longer, better lives.
